Cabin crew members must be in good health for their own safety and that of their colleagues and the general public. The EASA cabin crew medical examination is intended to assess your health, abilities and limitations, so that duties on board can be carried out safely.

Members of an affiliated flying club receive a 10% discount on all aeromedical examinations.
The cabin crew medical report is valid for a maximum of 60 months.
You can revalidate up to 45 days before the expiry date of your cabin crew medical report and keep the original expiry date.
If there are no findings (medical indications), the AME (Aeromedical Examiner) can issue the cabin crew medical report as soon as you are found fit. If you do not fully meet the requirements, the doctor must decide (in consultation with the Dutch Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate, ILT, if necessary) whether you can perform the role. The AME can then issue the cabin crew medical report with a limitation.
After you check in at reception, we scan your ID/passport, cabin crew medical report and Cabin Crew Attestation, if you have them. You then complete the digital application form about your medical history. The AME will give you a physical examination. If you have, or have had, a medical condition, bring documentation from your specialist or GP. If required, the AME will consult your Licensing Authority on whether the documents describe your condition sufficiently and flight safety is not compromised. If you need an interim assessment during the validity of your medical report because of decreased fitness (see the back of your medical report), you must book an appointment with us yourself. For this we charge an hourly rate of €125 excl. VAT. If there are no findings (medical indications), the AME can issue the cabin crew medical report as soon as you are found fit. Your initial cabin crew medical takes about 1.5 hours; a revalidation/renewal takes about 1 hour.
